Shared Ownership Stars To Look Out For At Royal Ascot 2025

Features | 16th June 2025

With Royal Ascot fast approaching, the latest updates on syndicates promise that several shared ownership racehorses are heading to the festival with a live chance of winning some of the biggest races of the flat season.

Shared ownership has never been so accessible or competitive. This year, several syndicate-owned stars are ready to take on the best of the best at Ascot, proving once again that you can win big on a small budget.

Regional

King Charles III Stakes - Tuesday 17th (3:40PM)

Owner: Future Champions Racing - Regional

This seven-year-old gelding by Territories, with a previous Group 1 win under his belt, is going into the King Charles III Stakes with a strong chance of hitting the frame. A proven top-class performer at elite level, Regional will also have his regular pilot, Callum Rodriguez, on board as he looks to give trainer Ed Bethell a second career Group 1 success.

One Look

Duke Of Cambridge Stakes - Wednesday 18th (3:40PM)

Owner: Connolly Racing Syndicate

A smart-moving filly by Gleneagles, the 4-year-old One Look has performed well this season with a Group 3 win and a close second in the Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes. Reports suggest she is in the form of her life and she must possess a strong chance of giving trainer Paddy Twomey a Royal Ascot success on Wednesday.

Facteur Cheval

Prince Of Wales's Stakes - Wednesday 17th (4:20PM)

Owner: Gary Barber & Team Valor International

This versatile Group 1 winning gelding has returned to form after a busy winter, having undergone robust preparation at Jerome Reynier’s base ahead of a Royal Ascot tilt. His proven ability over the trip means that if he puts his best foot forward, a win for Team Valor International could be firmly within reach.

Rogue Supremacy

Norfolk Stakes - Thursday 19th (2:30PM)

Owner: The Rogues Gallery

An impressively bred 2-year-old colt, Rogue Supremacy won his maiden at Wetherby in dominant, gaining him a Racing Post Rating of 96. He has so far shown his speed and potent turn of foot and remains hugely unexposed. With the confidence trainer David O’Meara has shown in pitching him into a warm Group 2 contest on only his second lifetime start, he could well serve it up to other more experienced runners in the field.

Big Mojo

Commonwealth Cup - Friday 20th (3:05PM)

Owner: RP Racing

Another hardy and reliable colt for the connections of Big Evs, the RP Racing owned Big Mojo enjoyed a very impressive 2024 season as a juvenile. Winning at group level, he’s shown his ability over both 5f and 6f and is expected to progress further as a 3-year-old after a winter’s break. Connections could find themselves back in the Royal Ascot Winners Enclosure on Friday, with Hollie Doyle replacing partner Tom Marquand in the saddle.
