We have an opportunity to join our new syndicate with a horse called Gundogan. Gundogan is already a winner, having won a novice race over 6f at Carlisle in August, and has placed a further five times from just eleven runs including a second place on the allweather at Newcastle and three 2nd places on turf. We believe Gundogan has more improvement in him and think he will improve when he is stepped up to 7f and eventually a mile. Currently rated 69, with the improvement we think the horse can achieve, races in the Skybet Sunday Series and the Racing League can be targeted during the summer.
Ross Burdon has been involved in racing since the age of 12, initially with dreams of being a jockey. Unfortunately that dream didn’t become a reality, only having a handful of rides on the racecourse. Now 38, Ross has since developed a huge amount of experience, working for some of the best racehorse trainers in the world, including Sir Henry Cecil during the years Frankel was in training, Andrew Balding in Kingsclere and Chris Waller, champion trainer in Australia.
